You can perform an hour or more of cardio, but even just 20 minutes is sufficient.Įach workout should take roughly 20–22 minutes, allowing you to fit the program into a busy schedule. This method keeps your heart rate elevated throughout the workout, giving you aerobic benefits while maintaining sufficient intensity to stoke your metabolic fire.įinally, low intensity cardio, such as walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling, gives you a slight bump in your daily calorie burn and allows you to exercise while recovering from the more intense strength and interval training. Interval training involves brief periods of high intensity exercise followed by relatively short rest periods. Interval training will provide a massive metabolic boost immediately after your workout. The strength training will help you build muscle and strength that you can apply to your interval training.įurthermore, the added muscle will increase your metabolism over time, meaning you’ll burn more calories at rest just to sustain yourself, which can contribute to the calorie deficit required for weight loss ( 3, 4). I build my program around three types of training: My 4-week workout plan for weight loss is a great way to kick-start your journey toward better health or add more variety to your workouts if you already consistently exercise. That said, research shows that exercise plays an important role in weight loss ( 2). This includes eating a variety of whole foods, drinking enough water, and ensuring you get enough sleep and manage stress. Losing weight requires a calorie deficit, meaning you must burn more calories than you eat in a given time frame, typically broken down into calories per day.Īlthough effective exercise programs can certainly speed up your weight loss, it’s important to remember that long-term weight management requires sustaining healthy habits over time. With this in mind, I’ve consistently relied on short, hard-hitting workouts my clients can do on a daily basis, alternating cardio and strength training and performing workouts on their own. In that time, the vast majority of my general fitness clients have wanted to lose weight and be healthier - and they typically have not had much time each day for exercise. I’ve been coaching fitness clients for more than a decade. I have a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology, and I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer.

It doesn’t work with my documents manager on my iPad well at all. I keep getting booted off, and logging back in frequently fails. I also have a SharePoint account through the university I work at. If I were rating that alone, I would give it 5 stars. Every once in awhile (actually quite rarely) I have to log back in, but that has always been problem free as well. My personal account works almost flawlessly. I have experience with both the Personal One Drive as part of my 365 subscription and on a SharePoint work account. The Pesonal One Drive account works very well When it doesn't work however, it's anxiety provoking and makes me want to tear my hair out. I think everything has been saved but how can teams of 3 developers make their apps prepped for Monterey weeks before Microsoft can? Look, when OneDrive works, it works really well and I actually enjoy using it. When I updated to Monterey and opened OneDrive, some very important files of mine were telling me they were corrupted and I had a small panic attack trying to make copies of them and upload them again. Additionally, it hasn't been updated for Monterey at the time of this writing. A company as big as Microsoft should be able to put a team on that for a week and make it compatible for Apple Silicon. Rosetta 2 makes it work 98% of the time but it seems like updating and signing out and back into my Microsoft Account breaks OneDrive in ways that I feel like relate to the fact it hasn't been properly recomplied. Killing Me Softly (2002)Ī high-profile drama that relies more on sexual measures than the storyline, the film revolves around a woman who abandons her relationship with her boyfriend and ties her hands to a mysterious mountain climber. If you’ve been longing for watching sex in a sports-related movie, this is the one for you. For those who are looking for some boxing material, prepare to be disappointed. They both fall for each other (or rather lust for each other) and what follows is relentless fornication, nude scenes (which are a delight, yes?) and a lot of sexual encounters. With his career on a sunset and his wife and kids demanding more attention from him, enter Deborah, a young, fervid, female boxer who is on the onset of her career. An aging boxer Ramon, who once had been a big shot has lost all hopes in his life and career. And also, to add, there are no tigers involved per se, not at least in their literal sense. Not that it is a cinematic masterpiece, but the nudity factor is what pays your money off. You can watch many of these nude movies on Amazon Prime, Hulu or Netflix. Please keep in mind that these movies have been ranked on the basis of their nude scenes. To the puerile souls that are smitten by the naked body of Kate Winslet in Titanic or nudity in general, here is the list of movies with lots of nudity. It does NOT cover documentaries or pornographic films. The list below primarily comprises of Hollywood movies with the most number of nude scenes and lots of nudity. Do catch this movie if you like themes like infidelity, marital relationships, finding a purpose in life etc.Anyway, let’s talk about what today’s article is about: the mainstream movies with the most amount of nudity. But then she found someone who saved her. She played the role of Sarah Pierce who failed to save her marriage which sent her life into a tailspin. She demonstrated the right amount of poise and balance needed for the role. In a movie based on the life of Steve Jobs (founder of Apple), she was Joanna Hoffman, a marketing consultant cum personal secretary cum life coach. Kate Winslet has played the central characters most of her career, but occasionally she did become part of the supporting cast. One finds it difficult to believe that this movie was directed by Peter Jackson (LOTR fame) who cast Kate Winslet in this intense dark movie where two friends plot to kill the mother of one who tried to separate them. Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey created magic on screen in this one, watch 500 times and you won’t be bored. But only through loss, they understood the real love between them. A couple’s relationship fell apart, so they decided to get their memories erased. It will always be an ever-lasting romantic drama of all time. She is not really known for her comedic timing, but she was incredibly hilarious in this one. Kate played Nancy Cowan, a harried mom who is not ready to accept her son’s mistake in a school brawl. It is one of the most underrated movies of Roman Polanski and Kate Winslet as it was literally shot in a house. Her performance as April Wheeler was so grounded and mature. She shares excellent chemistry with DiCaprio is beyond a shadow of a doubt now. Along with Leo, she played the role of a homemaker who is stuck in a mid-life crisis while trying to raise two kids in Connecticut in the post-war era. Personally, it’s one of my most favorite Kate Winslet movies but not many people are aware of it. Kate Winslet’s subtle performance as Sylvia Davies, a widowed mother of four sons, found her life changed upside down when she met James struggling to keep his theatre alive. Barrie was inspired to create a play “Peter Pan” after he was inspired by a family. And that would have been okay if those new additions got the respect they deserved, but the moment that they had their place in the spotlight they were sidelined almost immediately after. Sure we also lost some characters along the way, but we ended with a surplus of characters. The worst part of all this is that they were doing okay for the first half of Orion, because once it got to the world tournament they ended up ADDING characters to the main team. What is the issue is that there is no way for us to bond with any of them as there is no feasible way for Orion to properly showcase any character growth whatsoever (except if you are one of the main characters). The characters themselves are perfectly fine, that's not the issue. Orion's Inazuma Japan starts out with nineteen members right from the first episode, which is a bigger problem than most people might realize. The Inazuma Japan from Galaxy had thirteen members at most. The Inazuma Japan from the original Inazuma Eleven had sixteen members at any given time. I could write this whole review just about the characters in Orion, but. I will also admit that I am a pretty big fan of the third ED of Orion and more than its OP, which is something I can't say I am since Maji Bomber all the way back in the original Inazuma Eleven's third season.Ĭharacter (2/10) - Oh boy. Sound (6/10) - The soundtracks of Inazuma Eleven has always been pretty good, and even though I feel like it has gone down with Ares and Orion, they're still pretty decent. I am not that big of a fan of these if that was not obvious. I know that there are goal celebrations in the other installments of Inazuma Eleven, but these somehow feel. Orion also does this thing where they have goal celebrations from the characters of the main team, especially in the first half of Orion. The animation of all the new techniques introduced in Orion (and there are a lot of them!) has certainly improved, but none barring one (maybe two) of these were techniques that left me with a spark and in awe. In short, the story tried to focus on one specific plot point but it ended up becoming a rushed mess that, honestly, was quite all over the place.Īrt (4/10) - With a new franchise come new techniques and new animation techniques to, well. Orion also suffers from the same pacing problem that Ares had, but then cranked up to an eleven (more on that in the Enjoyment part of this review). Sure there are only so few plot ideas they could have gone for with what is effectively Inazuma Eleven's eighth arc, but it really feels very weak. By trying too hard to reference everything, Orion ends up in this weird space where it cannot stand out from the others. but the execution of everything is horrid, there is no other way to describe it. It would serve as a little bit of an easter egg for the faithful fans who have watched every episode of every season where we could go "Ah, that came from Galaxy, and that one came from the Aliea Academy arc!". Orion takes inspiration from the other Inazuma Eleven seasons, every one of them if you want to analyze every little frame, and this was a nice idea. All right, so those watching Orion will directly notice several things. I also make a handful of references to the other installments of Inazuma Eleven in this review to try and emphasize my point. I waited until I watched every episode of this to know for sure whether or not I would be certain of my decision, and having watched all 49 episodes I can say this with no regret: I am really disappointed with what Orion has become. It hurts, as a big Inazuma Eleven fan who watched the franchise ever since the first season of Inazuma Eleven was still airing, to give such a low rating for an Inazuma Eleven franchise. And it really is a wonderful, vigorous translation, with at least one surprising (and surprisingly perfect) word choice on nearly every page. The tight control that I sense in Danes’ voice is an effect of the verse she's reading, which is a tightly controlled five-beat line. If her Penelope sounds similar to her Telemachus, the increased softness of tone marks off her dialogue as efficiently as if Danes were working in full “impressionist” mode. Following Odysseus’ successful revenge, there is no mistaking the crisp orders of Odysseus for the joyful cries of Eurycleia. If it's a performance, it's at least a lively one, and if the characters don't have distinctive voices, Danes does vary pitch and speed and emotional tone for each. The effect is one of listening to a memorized performance rather than a spontaneous story. It's true that she doesn't give each character a distinctive voice, and also true that the narration, as opposed to the dialogue, proceeds in a narrow emotional register. I believe the reservations I expressed earlier were unfair, or at least stated too strongly. But honesty requires me to say that additional listening - of this and of other readings of The Odyssey - has changed my mind about the narration by Clare Danes. I'm including my original review below a number of people were kind enough to mark it as helpful. PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio. A fascinating introduction provides an informative overview of the Bronze Age milieu that produced the epic, the major themes of the poem, the controversies about its origins, and the unparalleled scope of its impact and influence. The result is a lean, fleet-footed translation that recaptures Homer’s “nimble gallop” and brings an ancient epic to new life. Her breathtaking rendition captures the poetic immediacy of the original text, while allowing listeners to experience The Odyssey with an honesty and directness few other versions have achieved. Beset at every turn, he encounters obstacles, detours, and temptations-both supernatural and human-while his wife Penelope fends off would-be suitors desperate to take the throne.Įmily Wilson is the first woman to take on the daunting task of translating over 100,000 lines of a three-millennium-old poem from Ancient Greek to modern-day English. When the wily warrior-king Odysseus sets off for home after the Trojan War, he doesn’t realize this simple undertaking will become a perilous journey of 10 years. Acclaimed actress Claire Danes burnishes an epic story of heroes, gods, and monsters in a groundbreaking translation of The Odyssey, the first great adventure story in the Western literary tradition.
